On passing sentence magistrate Makomo told the senior man that it was uncalled for to see a man of his age seen doing something like that as they are the ones to lead by example.
The State led by Samantha Dhlamini proved that sometime on May 4 2016, detectives from Chinamhora CID received information to the effect that the accused had plants of dagga in his maize field.

Armed with the information they approached Kahari whom they told of their visit.

He voluntarily led the detectives to his maize field where 44 plants of dagga were planted leading to the arrest.
